Aditya is currently pursuing his MTech in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Engineering and Control Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. He completed his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur in 2024. His research interests focus on the design and control of high-power-density power electronic converters for aviation electrification, with an emphasis on the application of wide bandgap semiconductor devices. He is also interested in renewable energy technologies and advanced power electronic interfaces for high-performance and energy-efficient electrical systems.
Akansha received her BTech Degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from the Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg Chhattisgarh where she worked on several projects, including a Home automation system, a Self-Balancing Robot using a PID controller, and designing and implementing a smart helmet using IoT. She is in the second semester of MTech in electrical engineering at IIT Gandhinagar. Her research interests focus on battery optimization, particularly in fast charging for lithium-ion batteries using multi-step current charging techniques.
Yash is an MTech scholar in Electrical Engineering doing specialization in Power Engineering and Control Systems at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. He completed his BTech in Electrical Engineering from BVM Engineering College under Gujarat Technological University in 2024. His research interests include Smart grid, Machine Learning and Battery Management Systems used in Electric vehicles, aiming to innovate smarter, safer, and more efficient energy solutions.
Om is currently an M.Tech student at IIT Gandhinagar. He obtained his BTech from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 2023. His research area focuses on electric powertrains and cost benefit analysis of future electric vehicles, aiming to bridge technological advancements with real-world applications. Prior to joining IITGN, He worked as an Associate Engineer at Baxter International. He also got felicitated by the Director of SAC/ISRO for securing 3rd place in a national-level competition sponsored by Google for Startups.
Harikrishnan is currently pursuing his MTech in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Engineering and Control Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. He completed his MSc in Physics from Mangalore University in 2023 and his BSc in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from the same university in 2020. His interests include hydrogen fuel cells, renewable energy integration, and high-efficiency power converters for microgrids and aviation. His current research focuses on developing and optimizing power electronic converters for hydrogen fuel cells and investigating their integration into aviation systems.
Athul is currently pursuing MTech in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Engineering and Control Systems at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. He had completed his BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala, in 2025. His previous works include the design and implementation of a standalone hybrid smart inverter system for utilizing power from solar and wind for domestic applications, including MPPT and battery energy storage for his BTech final year project. His research interests include various converters used for renewable energy applications.
Pathey is currently an MTech student in the Power Engineering and Control Systems domain at IIT Gandhinagar. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Nirma University in 2025. His research interests include grid-connected solar PV systems, electric machine drives, and power electronics design.
Abdullah is currently pursuing his MTech in Power Engineering and Control Systems as a first-year student. He completed his BTech from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2025. His major project was focused on the prediction of state of charge (SoC) of lithium-ion batteries. His research interest is focused on electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
