Precision Imaging informed Psychiatry, and the Neuroimaging of Yoga. The Integrative Medicine department has been pioneering the use of holistic therapeutic interventions like Yoga, meditation, and pranayama for various psychiatric disorders. Interacting with the researchers there and discussing some very interesting collaboration and joint research projects was fun. Thanks a lot to Prof. Hemant Bhargava, Prof. Bharath Holla, Prof. Urvakhsh Mehta and others for some fascinating discussions. It was a pleasure to meet Prof. B N Gangadhar, a stalwart in the field who has been guiding generations of researchers with humility and joy of science.
appy to share our newly published paper in Alzheimer’s & Dementia, the journal of the Alzheimer's Association®! We used connectome-based predictive modeling in autosomal dominant Alzheimer’s disease. CPM models strongly predicted tau concentrations and cognitive scores within the carrier group, years before dementia.
Vaibhav delivered a talk on the Spatiotemporal dynamics of breathwork and meditation to the research community of the AOL foundation in the US, a diverse group of researchers focussed on understanding how meditation and breathwork impacts the brain, physiology & health
