overflow-y=&#8221;scroll&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;20px|20px|20px|20px|false|false&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Spotlight<br \/><\/strong><\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>March 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">A symposium on wearable technology with academic, industry, and clinical experts across India was conducted on the 22nd of this month to discuss advancements in the field and foster collaborations.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">A camp for empowering people with disabilities from 5th to 9th and a workshop on Prosthetics Technology from 8th to 9th were conducted in partnership with the SparkMinda Foundation, <span>the CSR arm of the Minda Group (<a href=\"https:\/\/navjeevanexpress.com\/iitgn-partners-with-spark-minda-to-host-camp-for-empowerment-of-pwd-and-prosthetics-tech-workshop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media Coverage<\/a>).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Prof. Vashista delivered a <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Bcx4rOYRFNk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lecture<\/a> on &#8220;Wearable Robotics: A Human-Centric Approach&#8221; as part of the MedTech @ School of PET, a monthly research talk series by the University of York.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><strong>January 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Debanik Roy, Scientist, BARC Mumbai, visited the HCR lab on the 20th and interacted with the lab members.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">A research talk on &#8220;<span>Biomechanics and the Human Digital Twin: A Glimpse into the Future<\/span>&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1><strong>About<\/strong><\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research work at the Human-Centered Robotics (HCR) Lab uses the principles of human motor and movement adaptation to develop novel human-centered robotic technologies to improve the quality of human life. The main focus has been on the integration of these understanding within the robot&#8217;s design and control to enable a desired physical human-robot interaction.
