Education<\/strong><\/p>\n About Me<\/strong><\/p>\n Sameer Patel is an Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. He leads the Energy, Environment and Exposure Laboratory (EEEL) at IIT Gandhinagar. His current research encompasses various aspects of energy, environment, and human exposure with an emphasis on understanding their nexus. I worked on the adsorption of heavy metals, antibiotic resistance bacteria, and PPCPs detection in different water compartments. In my Ph.D., my broad research area includes indoor air quality and aerosols. I would love to explore various aspects of indoor air quality and, as a member of the EEEL lab, would try to contribute something meaningful to society. In my free time, I love watching web series, soccer, and movies. Also, I love discussing political scenarios with friends & family.
