Dr. Thiruvenkatam’s laboratory integrates the principles of various biological approaches such as molecular biology, biochemistry and biophysics to elucidate the molecular structure and dynamics of biological macromolecules as well as small drug like molecules. We aim to achieve an extensive understanding of structure-function relationships of various challenging proteins using variety of experimental and computational tools, so as to identify and validate molecular targets to produce an efficacious response, and overcome mechanisms of drug resistance.
